  • 3 large yellow onions
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 C. beer
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 C. oil, for frying

Mix the beaten egg, flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and salt. Slowly add the beer, and stir the mixture while adding the beer. For your onions slice them about ½ inch thick. For the oil, heat it in a large pan. Make sure it’s hot. When the onions are ready for the oil, dip the onions one at a time in the batter and place them in the oil. They should be turned over once brown. When done place them on a plate covered in paper towel. Serve with ranch or ketchup.
