  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1⁄4 cup very warm water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1⁄4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1⁄4-1 1⁄2 cups rye flour
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Let yeast dissolve in warm water. Using a large bowl, bowl the sour cream, butter, egg, salt, sugar and dill. Stir in the yeast mixture. Beat for 1 minute. Stir in gradually the flour, cheese, and rye flour. Knead dough until smooth and place into butter bowl. Cover and let rise. Shape into a ball and place onto a cake pan, brushing with the melted butter. Cover and let rise again. Beat the egg white ad water and also brush on the bread. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes.
