  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or your preferred flavor)
  • 1 egg
  • ΒΌ C vegetable oil
  • 1 C water
  • Melted chocolate (white or dark)
  • Sprinkles

Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch baking pan with some butter.

In a bowl, mix in the cake mix, oil, egg and water. Mix well until the batter is formed.

Then, pour the batter into the prepared baking tray. Shake it around to ensure that the batter is spread evenly in the pan.

Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes. When it is done, remove and let it cool completely before making the pops.

Once the cake has cooled, cut it into smaller pieces and crumble the pieces into a bowl. After that, add a little bit of pre-made frosting to the crumbs and mix it to ensure that they stick together.

When that is done, using a small ice cream scoop, scoop up the cake mixture and arrange them on a baking sheet or plate.

Repeat till all the cake mix has been rolled into balls.

Then cover the cake balls with some cling wrap and refrigerate them for 2 hours.

After the time, remove the cake balls and carefully poke lollipop sticks on the top, so that the cake ball nicely sits on the top of the stick.

Then, dip the now prepare cake pops into the melted chocolate. You may even add a little food coloring into the melted white chocolate for different colors.

Once the pops have been coated, add on your choice of sprinkles then, let them stand in a glass or poke them into a styrofoam block and place them in the refrigerator to cool.

After the chocolate has hardened, the cake pops are ready to be served!
