Preheat the oven to 350 F. Prepare a flat baking tray and line it with tin foil.

In a large bowl, add in the ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese and egg. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.

Then begin shaping the mixture into round meatballs and placing it on the tray. You should get about 12 meatballs.

When it’s ready, place the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes until it is cooked through.

Meanwhile, cut the bread lengthwise. You can gut the bread to make more room for the meatballs. Then, lightly brush the insides with some olive oil and put it in the oven during the last 5 minutes of the meatballs time to lightly toast it.

When it’s done, remove the meatballs and the bread. Neatly arrange the meatballs onto the toasted sub then layer it with a few slices of provolone cheese, onions and tomatoes. The cheese should melt from the heat of the meatballs. You can even drizzle on some sweet onion dressing if you like.

Once it is ready, serve and enjoy!
