  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread; cut in half horizontally
  • 2 garlic cloves; minced
  • 1 stick unsalted butter; softened
  • ½ tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 400 F.

Add the garlic, butter and salt into a bowl. Mash the butter up and mix the ingredients together until it is well combined.

Then, line a baking try with some baking paper or foil. Generously spread the butter mixture on the cut side of the bread and arrange it on the tray.

Place it in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until bread is brown.
Remove, cut to pieces and serve warm.
