Homemade Green Tea Ice Cream
Serving Size / Yield
- 2 Cups Half and Half
- 3 Tbs. Green Tea Powder
- ½ Cup Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Before you start, make sure you have an ice cream maker and freeze your ice cream bowl for 24 hours.
Mix sugar and half and half together in a sauce pan and cook on medium.
Add in the green tea powder and continue mixing until mixture is foamy.
Do not let boil
Fill a large bowl with ice.
Pour the ice cream mixture into a smaller bowl and sit that bowl in the larger bowl.
Let ice cream cool down, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Put ice cream into the ice cream maker and follow the directions for making ice cream.
Once finished, put ice cream in an air tight container and freeze for 3 hours.
