Homemade Ice Cream- Mother's Day Contest Winner
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 qt. milk
- 4 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 12 eggs
- 1 Tbs. vanilla
- 1 qt. heavy cream
Directions
Heat together milk and 3 C. sugar. Mix 1 C. sugar, flour, salt and eggs. Add to milk and cook until it starts to coat the spoon. Add 1 Tbs. vanilla and 1 quart of heavy cream. Fill the freezer and follow the recommended directions to freeze the ice cream. Freeze in a 2 gallon container.
