Homemade Irish Cream
Serving Size / Yield
- Heavy cream, 1 cup
- Condensed milk, sweetened, 8 oz
- Chocolate extract, 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla extract, 1 tsp
- Some brand of Irish whiskey, 1 cup
- Hot water, 2 cup
- Instant coffee, 1 tsp
Take a large bowl and combine the cream, whiskey, vanilla and chocolate extract and the condensed milk and whisk them together well.
Dissolve the coffee in water in a pint-sized bowl. Add it to the cream and whiskey mixture and stir to combine well .
Transfer the whole into a sealed container and chill in the refrigerator. Take out once it is very cold and now you may use it in cocktails, or serve simply over ice. The preparation may also be used for baking purposes.
