  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ½ C. Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 jar pasta sauce, brand of personal choosing
  • ¼ C. dried basil
  • 1 French loaf of bread

In a medium bowl, combine ground beef with egg, bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix together until all ingredients are well incorporated. Form the meat mixture into 12 meatballs. Place meatballs in the bottom of the crock pot. Pour pasta sauce and basil over them, make sure all meatballs are covered. Cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) or until meatballs are done. When servings, slice bread and place 3 meatballs ono the bread, drizzle with a little extra sauce and serve.
