  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy ice cream
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 drops green food coloring

In a large bowl, mix together the milk, sugar, cream, salt, peppermint extract and vanilla extract till the sugar is dissolved. Add the green food coloring to the mixture. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and place in the freezer. After 10 minutes of freezing, add the chocolate chips. Place in the freezer again for 30 minutes. When the ice cream gets thick, spoon it into a container and freeze for about two hours. Serve.
