Premade fish sticks are a staple in most peoples’ fridge. But this recipe will teach you how to make them fresh. The cheese and onion add a bit of tang and the panko makes the crust super crispy.

  • 1 pound tilapia fillet
  • 1 cup of panko breading
  • ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

As the oven preheats to 450 degrees, cut the tilapia into 1-inch strips then toss into the egg wash. Next, mix together panko breading, onion powder and Parmesan cheese and coat fish sticks into the mixture. Place the fish sticks onto a greased pan and allow them to bake for 15 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and side of broccoli for a bit of green on your plate.
