Homemade pastrami sandwiches will cost you less than those bought from a deli, especially when you have a lot of mouths to feed. They are pretty easy to make and will only take a few minutes before they are ready. Here's how to prepare pastrami sandwiches easily from your home.

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 squirts yellow mustard
  • 5 slices Hillshire farms pastrami
  • 1 slice Sargento's mild cheddar cheese sandwich slices

Over a low to medium heat, place the 5 slices of pastrami in a skillet. Warm them until you notice shriveling on the edges. Make sure you turn them occasionally so that they don't burn.

Squirt the two blobs of yellow mustard on the bread. Take one 1 slice of the cheese sandwich slices and place it on the other side of the bread. On the slice of bread with the cheese, place the warm pastrami and place the other slice of bread on top.

Tip: You may also use turkey pastrami in place of Hillshire Farms Pastrami. You are also not limited to a particular type of mustard. Also, if you are not a fan of cheese, you avoid using it or replace it with any other type.
