In a pan, melt the butter with very little oil. Then add in the carrots, onion, celery, and a few bay leaves. Cook until soft.

Then add in the beef, garlic, salt and pepper and cook until the beef is cooked all the way through. Later add in the mushrooms, thyme and oregano.

In a bowl, mix the tomato puree and beef stalk then add it into the pan with the beef and stir.

Later add in the chopped tomato, mixed close and allow to simmer for 1 hour to let the flavors fuse.

The sauce will thicken as it simmers. Add water and stir to thin it.

Just before the sauce is ready, boil the pasta with some added olive oil and salt. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, after the sauce is done simmering, add in the cream and stir and more salt and pepper if needed.

Serve on top of the cooked pasta, grate some cheese over it and enjoy!
