  • 2 cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • ¼ C. olive oil
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 T. garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T. dry basil leaves
  • 1 ½ T. sugar
  • 1 ½ T. oregano
  • Red pepper flakes

Sauté the minced garlic cloves in the olive oil in a saucepan. Pour in the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Let is simmer. Add in the cayenne pepper, dry basil leaves, sugar, oregano and desired amount of red pepper flakes. Remove from heat. Mix well. Serve over desired pasta and enjoy.
