Homemade Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cans (28 oz. each) crushed tomatoes with Italian herbs, undrained
- 1 6-oz. can tomato paste
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 8 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 24 oz. uncooked spaghetti
- shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
Directions
In slow cooker, mix all ingredients except spaghetti and cheese. Cover; cook on Low heat 8 to 10 hours. Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package. Serve sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
