Who doesn't love ice cream? Try this recipe on a hot summer day!

  • 1 lb Strawberries, stems removed
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • ⅛ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Coarsely mash strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and salt with a potato masher in a large bowl.
Let stand for about 10 minutes.
Pour half the mixture into a blender, add cream and milk, and blend until smooth.
Add the strawberry cream to the remaining strawberry mixture.
Then cover and place in freezer for 3 hours.
Stir every every hour or so until frozen.
