  • 2 C. heavy whipping cream
  • 2 C. half-and-half
  • ¾ C. sugar
  • 1 T. vanilla extract
  • 4 C. root beer

In a large bowl whisk cream, half-and-half, sugar, and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate.

Once cooled, pour on an ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's directions until ice cream is fully frozen.

Place two scoops of your homemade ice cream into 4 serving glasses and top with your favorite root beer.
