Honey Baked Ribs

Even if you don't have a grill, you can still enjoy great, glazed ribs from the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 can beef consomme -- undiluted
  • 1/2 C. ketchup
  • 1/2 C. soy sauce
  • 1/2 C. honey
  • 4 garlic cloves -- minced
  • 4 lb. country style spareribs, -- cut into serving size pieces

Directions

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Pour half into a large resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container; add ribs. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning once. Refrigerate remaining marinade. Remove ribs to a greased roasting pan; discard marinade. Cover and bake at 425 F. for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 F. Cover and bake 30 minutes longer; drain. Pour reserved marinade over ribs. Bake uncovered, for 45 minutes or until meat is tender, basting frequently.
