Honey Cornbread

Adding honey to your cornbread gives it that touch of sweetness that everyone loves. Serve it with honey butter and it's extra-fabulous.

  • 1 C. all purpose flour
  • 2 C. yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 C. honey
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil (canola)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbs. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients until well blended. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake 30 minutes or until done.
