Honey Herb Butter

It makes a great gift for a hostess, with a loaf or two of good crusty bread. You can also take it to a potluck. Be sure to bring a sharp knife for cutting the bread, and a knife to spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbs. fresh basil
  • 2 lb. room temperature butter
  • 4 Tbs. honey

Directions

Mince the herbs as fine as possible and add to the butter, then mix in the honey. Divide to make 2 gifts of a pound each, or place in a larger container for a larger gift. This does need to stay refrigerated and used within a week.
