Honey-Mustard Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts
  • 1 1/2 C. water
  • 1 tsp. chicken flavor bouillon granules
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 2 tsp. Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice

Wash Brussels sprouts and remove outer leaves if wilted. Cut off stem endsand cut an "X" on the bottom of each Brussels sprout to decrease bitterness. Bring water and chicken bouillon to boil in a medium saucepan. Add Brussels sprouts and return to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until tender. Drain and place Brussels sprouts in a serving bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over Brussels sprouts. Toss gently to coat and serve. Makes 6 Servings
