A hot cup of coffee spiked with a shot of Irish whiskey and topped with homemade whipped cream makes for a strong, silky way to wake up in the morning. We suggest garnishing the whipped cream with a pinch of nutmeg before serving.

Place melted butter and milk into mixing bowl, and whip together until thickened. Add confectioner's sugar and beat until soft peaks form in the mixture. Fold in the vanilla extract and set aside. Pre-heat glass by pouring hot water over it, carefully turning it so that it doesn't crack. Fill up to three-quarters of the hot glass with espresso coffee. Drop in two sugar cubes and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add one shot of Irish whiskey. Top with a dollop of the whipped cream and serve immediately.
