  • 2 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 T. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 C. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 C. low-fat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water
  • oil for deep frying
  • hot sauce

Take out a medium bowl and thoroughly mix together the flour, seasoned salt, cumin, cornstarch, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and salt. Use a different bowl to whisk together the milk, water, and egg. Evenly coat the chicken tenders in the flour mixture and then dip them into the egg mixture. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture again, shake off any extra flour, and deep fry the chicken in oil until the chicken becomes golden brown.
