Hot Chicken Dip

This creamy dip can be used as an appetizer with chips or it can be the filling in tortillas.

  • 1 bag tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C. of sour cream
  • 1 medium onion chopped fine
  • 3 or 4 jalapeno peppers chopped (use additional peppers if you like it hotter)
  • 1 large can of chicken meat
  • 2 C. of shredded cheddar cheese

In a large ovenproof bowl, mix all the ingredients except the cheddar cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Put the cheese on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted. Serve with additional tortilla chips as a dip or can be put on flour tortillas and wrapped.
