  • 2 slices bacon, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/3 C. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • Dash red pepper

Fry bacon in a Dutch oven. Add onion and green pepper, and sauté until vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer l5 mins. Stirring occasionally.

Yield 8 to 10 servings
