Ingredients

  • one 15-oz. can chili bean tamales
  • 16 oz. hot dogs, cut up
  • one 11 1/2-oz. can condensed chili beef soup
  • one 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 C. crushed taco shells

Directions

Drain tamales, reserving sauce.  Remove wrappers from tamales and cut each tamale into thirds.  In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, combine tamale sauce, hot dogs, soup, and tomato sauce.  Top with tamales.  Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.  Top with cheese and bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes more.  Serve topped with crushed taco shells.
