Easy to make, includes garbanzo beans and clove garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 15 1/2 oz. can garbanzo beans, drained, reserve liquid
  • 3 Tbs. tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1 peeled clove garlic
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a blender or food processor, whirl garbanzos, tahini (sesame paste), olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin until smooth. Thin with a few tablespoons reserved liquid if desired. Add salt and pepper to taste.
