  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 8 tea bags

Combine the sugar with lemon juice and baking soda in a large mixing bowl and stir. Bring the water to a boil in a pan and remove from heat. Place the tea bags in the hot water and steep for 5 minutes max. Remove and discard the bags. Pour the hot tea into the lemon mixture and stir and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a gallon container and fill the top with cold water. Refrigerate the tea and serve with ice.
