Imitation French Pate

An easier way to make pate without all the grinding and mashing of the meat, this recipe tastes almost the same with much left work.

  • 1/2 lb. liverwurst
  • 1 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 C. cream
  • 1 Tbs. melted butter
  • 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, pepper and paprika to taste

Mash liverwurst and cream cheese together. Add remaining ingredients, seasoning to taste. Serve with crackers.

Tip: May use a dash of curry powder.

Yield: 1 1/2 C.
