  • 1 package Golden Oreos, only need 24 cookies
  • 6 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 C. milk
  • 2 bananas, divided
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 C. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C. whipped topping
  • 8 oz. semisweet chocolate chips or bars, chopped finely
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter

In a blender, crush 24 cookies until finely crushed. Place crushed cookies in a medium mixing bowl and add in melted butter. Add to an 8x8-inch baking dish and place in freezer to chill for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix pudding package with milk in a small bowl. Set aside. Place on bananas in a mixing bowl and mash with cream cheese. Mix in confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Fold in 1 C. whipped topping and combine well. Place small tablespoon sized drops of cream cheese mixture on top of cooled crust. Spread pudding layer over the cream cheese. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Place the chocolate in a mixing bowl. Once the cream is at a simmer, pour over the chocolate and let stand for 4-5 minutes. Add butter and stir until melted. Pour over chilled bars. Add sliced bananas on top and chill for an additional hour. Serve.
