  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 C. onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks coriander, finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. red chili pepper
  • Dash of turmeric powder
  • 1 C. fresh green peas
  • 1 C. water
  • 1 lb. paneer cubes
  • 1 tsp. malai (milk cream)
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste

Preheat oil in a large pot over medium-low heat. Add onions, coriander, red chili pepper and turmeric. Saute for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes. Cook for 3 minutes or until thick. Add peas. Cook for 7 minutes. Add water, paneer and malai. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Turn heat to low. Season with garam masala powder. Mix and remove from heat. Add salt to taste.
