A simple dinner with corned beef and vegetables, slow-cooked all day.

  • 5-6 red potatoes, (cut into quarters or 8ths)
  • 6-8 carrots, chopped
  • 4 medium onions, quartered
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 packaged corned beef, cut into 2 pieces to fit pot
  • 1 small head cabbage, cut into 8ths

Place everything into crock pot in the order above. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1/2 cup water. Cook on automatic for about 8 hours. Take out meat and put on platter to slice. Take out vegetables and put into bowl. Keep the juice for soup. Serve with a variety of mustards.
