Irish Cream Fudge
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 C. white sugar
- 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 24 oz. white chocolate chips
- 3 sticks butter
- 2 Tbs. Irish Cream flavoring
- 1 Tbs. vanilla flavoring
Directions
Butter sides of large heavy pan. Boil milk and sugar, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches softball on candy thermometer (about 234-236 °F).
Remove pan from heat and add chips, butter and flavorings.
BEAT WITH WOODEN SPOON AT LEAST FIVE MINUTES. (VERY important!) Pour into buttered pan or pans. Store in fridge. Note: (Be sure not to confuse Evaporated Milk for Sweetened Condensed Milk.)
