Italian Crockpot
Ingredients
- 6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tbs. melted butter
- 2 Tbs. or one small pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix
- salt & pepper
- 1 Tbs. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2-3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. water
Directions
Wash chicken and pat dry. Place in slow cooker. Drizzle butter and sprinkle salt, pepper & dry salad dressing mix on each layer. Cover and cook in crockpot on low for 5-6 hours. About 45 minutes before serving: mix soup, cream cheese, water & onion in small saucepan. Cook & stir until smooth and bubbly. Pour over chicken. Cover & continue to cook for 30 minutes. Serve over rice/noodles.
