Italian Gumbo

This recipe is pretty good. I have cooked it for friends. Especially in the colder months. You might be suprised how good it really taste. Just cook it and see.

  • 1 pkg. Italian Sausage
  • 1 pkg. frozen okra
  • 2 C. cooked white rice
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes
  • 1 can whole corn (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Cook on stove top:

Cook sausage in frying pan and then drain excess grease. Combine all ingredients in stockpot and let simmer for 20 -30 minutes. Serve.
