  • 1 sm. box Brussels sprouts
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. meat extract
  • 1/2 C. warm water

Clean sprouts, removing outside leaves. Wash well and boil in salted water for 12 minutes. Drain. Melt butter in skillet, add sprouts and salt and cook gently for 5 minutes. Blend meat extract with warm water. Add to sprouts and cook for 2 minutes longer. Serve immediately.
