  • 3 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (32 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (32 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 jalapeno peppers, diced
  • 1 (30 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • ΒΌ C. chili powder
  • 1 T. cumin
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, and jalapenos. Transfer to a large skillet and brown beef until cooked through. Put into your crockpot and add in kidney beans and pinto beans. Stir in diced tomatoes with juice and season with oregano, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook on low for 6 hours.
