  • 2 C. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 2 tsp. sugar

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, blend the water, oil and sugar. Stir into the dry mixture. Roll out the dough on a floured board (to about 1/4 to 1/2" thick). Cut out 2" circles. Heat a griddle (or heavy skillet) over medium heat. Lightly oil before each addition of biscuits. Cook the biscuits until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes a side). Serve warm.

Yield: 12-15 biscuitsĀ
