Jetta's Big Yummy Steak Salad
Ingredients
- 2 lg. heads romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 red peppers cut into strips
- 2 yellow peppers cut into strips
- 3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 ripe avocado cut into bite-size pieces
- 3/4 C. Craisins
- 1 C. whole pecans
- 1 C. steak strips (precooked – in a bag in the meat section)
- Paul Newman's olive oil and vinegar dressing
- Sugar, salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Combine lettuce, onion, peppers, tomatoes and Craisins in large bowl. Heat pecans and steak until pecans are toasted and steak is heated through. Stir hot mixture into salad. Combine dressing with sugar, salt and pepper to taste and pour over salad. Toss well.
