I developed this hot dog recipe specifically for teenagers when cooking on church retreats. I have never had any left over.

  • 8-12 all beef wieners (3-4 oz. each)
  • 2-3 oz. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbs. Greek seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. Cajun seasoning

Add enough water to completely submerge hot dogs in a stockpot or saucepan. Split the skin of each hot dog length-wise. Add Worcestershire sauce until water turns slightly dark (about 2-3 oz.). Add salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, and Greek seasoning. Add dogs and boil until dogs swell and float. If you desire split dogs lengthwise and cook again on barbecue grill. Place on bun with your favorite condiments and dressings. Suggestions: Creole Mustard, chopped onions and sweet pickle relish.
