• 1 2 oz. jar instant coffee
• 1 pt. Brandy
• 4 C. sugar
• 1 whole vanilla bean
• 2 C. boiling water
• 1 pt. Vodka

Combine coffee, sugar, and water in saucepan, heat and stir until all is dissolved. Do not bring to a boil. Cool, half vanilla bean by cutting on the slant lengthwise. Mix all ingredients in a 1/2 gallon container (it doesn't call for it, but we always used a glass one left over from apple cider).
