Kat's Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 1 12-oz. bag chopped broccoli, cooked according to directions on bag
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 C. milk
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 8-oz. bag shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 2 Tbs. finely diced onion
- 1 Tbs. butter
Directions
Saute the onion and carrot in the butter in a medium sauce pan. Add the soup, and milk and broth and stir with a whisk until smooth. Add the cooked broccoli. Add the pepper and cheese. Cook until cheese melts.
