Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust (I use a ready-made shortbread)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 C. key lime juice
- 1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream (1 12 oz. container of thawed Cool Whip may be subsitituted)
- Whipped cream topping (optional)
Directions
Mix condensed milk and key lime juice until well blended and smooth. Beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks are formed. Fold the whipped cream (or cool whip) into the key lime mixture. Pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Top with whipped cream.
