KFC Cole Slaw

This simple recipe perfectly replicates the slaw at the fast food chain. Great for any barbecue or large gathering.

Serving Size / Yield

8-10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 or 2 carrots, grated
  • 1/4 onion, grated
  • Dressing:
  • 1 C. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1/4 C. oil
  • 1/4 C. vinegar

Directions

Mix together the dressing and pour over cabbage mix. Let it sit for a few hours before eating.

  • OH YES AND BE SURE TO ADD THE SALT AND PEPPER , AND I TAKE IT THAT WAS 1/4 CUP OF VINEGAR I USED THE WHITE VINEGAR . THE MIRACLE WHIP WORKED OUT FINE .

  • I JUST TRIED THIS RECEIPE ,AND YES IT WAS GREAT ! I BACKED OFF A LITTLE ON THE SUGAR NOT QUITE A FUL CUP BUT 1/2 CUP WOULD BE GOOD . SHE DID NOT SAY WHAT KIND OF OIL AND I USED OLIVE OIL . I WILL NOT BE BUYING KFCS ANY MORE THIS MAY EVEN BE A LITTLE BETTER ! THANKS !!!

  • I just made this - delicious, but suggest: white balsamic vinegar, sweet onion like walla-walla, and only 1/4 C sugar
