  • 1 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbs. cilantro, chopped cilantro
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbs. lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of cayenne
  • Fresh lemon wedges

Heat a large cast-iron skillet on medium-high. Pour in the olive oil and garlic and saute it for a few minutes. Season the shrimp with salt and cayenne. Once the shrimp are about halfway done (after 5-6 minutes), toss in the butter, cilantro, and lime juice. Continue cooking the shrimp until they slightly char and serve!
