Kim's Italian Marinated Roast

The main reason why this marinate is so delicious is because I add the perfect amount of ketchup with Good Seasons Italian dressing. The mixture of the two along with some water and Worcestershire sauce is perfect.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 C. water
  • 1 1/2 C. ketchup
  • 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian dressing (1.5 oz.)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 lb. beef roast

Directions

Mix first 4 ingredients; place in plastic sealable bag. Poke several holes in roast and add to marinade; put in refrigerator overnight (or at least 8 hours). Drain roast, reserving marinade. Place on rack in roasting pan. Boil marinade rapidly for 1 minute, pour over roast. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Let stand 15 minutes.
