Lavender Sugar Dipped Wafer Cones

These elegant herb scented cones taste great with French vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 C. sugar
  • 1 Tbs. dried lavender buds
  • 4 oz. white chocolate
  • 4 waffle cones
  • French vanilla ice cream

Directions

Combine 1 T. sugar and lavender in a food processor or blender. Grind until finely ground. Add to rest of sugar. Stir and store in a tightly covered container for at least 3 days. Pour lavender sugar in a shallow dish. Melt white chocolate, dip cones into the melted white chocolate, and then dip the cones into the lavender sugar. Set onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper or parchment. Let set about 20 minutes, then fill with ice cream.
