  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbs. flour
  • 6 C. large apples, cored and sliced thin (we recommend Fuji)
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. butter
  • 2 pre-packaged unbaked pie crusts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss apple slices in the flour and salt. Add a layer of apples into one pie crust, dot with half the butter, and half of the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Repeat with another layer. 

Add the second crust on the top, cutting as desired or simple slitting vent holes in the top. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
