Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • ½ C. onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • ½ C. water
  • 1 (15 oz.) container ricotta cheese
  • 2 C. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 T. fresh parsley
  • 6-12 uncooked lasagna noodles

Directions

In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Add in onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Pour in pasta sauce and water; stir and simmer for 5-10 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, salt, pepper, and egg. Pour a small amount of sauce at the bottom of the crockpot and proceed to layer noodles, cheese mix, and meat sauce. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours and garnish with parsley.
