LeaRaye's Mushroom Rice

Ingredients
- 2 C. uncooked rice
- 4 C. chicken or beef broth
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 C. chopped green onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
Directions
Cook rice in broth. While rice is cooking, saute green onions and garlic in butter in a large skillet until tender. Add mushrooms and continue to cook until mushrooms are tender. Add mushrooms mixture to warm rice and mix well. Cover and let stand 10-15 minutes to let flavor develop before serving.
